YR 2010 INDIA TRIP TRAVEL PART 1
Sent: Thu, January 28, 2010 11:42:13 PM Subject: MY TRIP TO INDIA Hi I am leaving for India tomorrow and God willing will try and visit as many Projects as I can. In Delhi I will be staying at Patel Nagar with my 85yr old widowed mother-in -law My address is ..cottage 14 West Patel Nagar . The "cottage" sounds like a comfortable London abode , but actually it is very misleading .....It is "anti comfort"...in every way. I feel it is a historical relic from the Partition days and my dear mom in-law ..who i love dearly, lives in stone age ...living a bare bones, minimalist existence...by choice. Through the years... i have grown to develop a strange bond with this very uncomfortable home. I love my in-laws and have never complained..to spare their feelings .I am told it is freezing in Delhi .....God help me ! This time I am going like a TECH Queen with a new lap top, state of the art video camera , microphone, recorder, camera...etc etc . My biggest stress is ..."will I be able to charge all these fancy batttery packs I am carrying with me , in those 100yr old plug points ? I can travel all over India in a bullock cart ..but making all this high tech stuff work is going to be my biggest challenge ! Chris and Anil Lal..my tech gurus have been very helpful.
