FROM WHERE TO WHER? MIJWAN VILLAGE PROJECT
In yr 2003......a torn "dhari" (mat) and few broken sewing machines ..was the last semblance of....Renouned, Poet, Kaifi Azmi's ....dream..... to uplift the village girls of Mijwan Village . 6 yrs later ..in yr 2009 ... this dream was becoming a Reality ! Broken sewing machines and torn mats were now replaced by the ..HOH TRAINING/ PRODUCTION CENTER ..which is the Pride of this tiny village .... The girls are EMPOWERED and feel a deep sense of proud ownership and strong "connection"with this ..outside Farishta ( Angel) ..called Home Of Hope ... The building stands tall and proud ...the large sign outside has HOH written in the " Hindi" language .......symbolic of the Universal spirit of SEVA . .. NILIMA SABHARWAL.MD ASSOCIATE PATHOLOGIST KAISER SAN JOSE MEDICAL CENTER 408-972-7301
